You can use sunflower, flaxseed, coconut, canola, avocado oil… avoid olive oil as it can give a sticky feel. To increase the non-stick patina, after cleaning and oiling, heat the skillet over medium-high heat until smoke appears, apply a little more oil distributing with kitchen paper, and let it cool before storing.
